A former Paramedic and Massage Therapist at Lake Tahoe, CA, Jenna has a knack for understanding health challenges.
Jenna first became interested in Massage Therapy in 1994 after a vehicle collision resulting in an injury. Massage Therapy was the only treatment that brought relief to Jenna’s condition. Jenna began pursuing training and learning more about the wonders of massage therapy and the human body. Jenna became certified in 1997 at Phillips School of Massage, Nevada City, CA. Due to Jenna’s warm hands and giving heart, she obtained a position right out of school at the Northstar Swim and Racquet Club where she practiced bodywork for 5 years.
Upon moving to Washington State, after the birth of her daughter, Jenna knew she would always want to do healing work. There is something very special about sharing space with people as they experience bodywork and massage. Jenna began to pursue Washington State Licensure and decided to further her training in 2004. Jenna completed a degree with honors as a Massage Practitioner in 2006 from Whatcom College.
After a short search Jenna located the perfect office space in the lovely Bellingham Towers. Jenna uses an orthopedic body cushion on her table, the highest quality oils, and aromatherapy learned from Kathi Keville, Herbalist, Aromatherapist, CMT, and author of aromatherapy books. The techniques available include, but are not limited to; Cranial Sacral Therapy, Reiki, Hot Stone Massage, Wellness Massage, Lomilomi o ka Pu'uwai-Hawaiian Circulatory Massage, and Medical Massage.
The office is warm and comfortable, so stop by, enjoy the view, and let a hot stone treatment or energy treatment whisk you away, at least for a little while. Return with a renewed sense of health and well-being, feeling like you did something very, very nice for your body.
