Favorite activity in Whatcom County: Hiking in the Mt. Baker area especially Skyline Divide.

Favorite places to eat: Busara Thai food and Mambo Italiano.

Last community event attended: The Whatcom Symphony (as I am the conductor), the Comedy Club at the Upfront Theater and PAC Series at WWU

Last movie seen: It’s been a while; I’m not a big movie goer. I’d say Pirates of the Caribbean

Favorite musical artist: Beethoven, 9th Symphony

Recommended Reading: Steppenwolf by Herman Hesse. I have read it many times.

Favorite Non-Profit Organizations: The Whatcom Symphony Orchestra and American Red Cross

Preferred local shopping: Haggens (groceries), Barnes and Noble (books), and Macy’s (clothes)
 

Where do you go on a rainy day for fun: I’ll go to Seattle for the day or hang out at the local bookstores like Village Books or Barnes and Noble.

Fondest Memory: Swimming and fishing as a kid in Shoal Creek, Florence, Alabama

What do you love about Bellingham: Bellingham is a perfect balance between beauty, outdoor activities, and a healthy dose of cultural activity.
