"You'd think that a professional studio would know how to provide pictures of high school graduations--NOT DONETTE STUDIO of Bellingham WA. Somehow scores of student photos weren't taken, such as all the graduating Windward students and many Ferndale High students as well. A number of us gave Donette the opportunity to apologize or at least post a notice that many graduates' images weren't available, but we were ignored...hence this review. Avoid Donette if at all possible!"

"We wasted nearly $1000 hiring Donette to photograph our wedding! After two meetings with the photographer we thought we had made an excellent choice, but we were duped! The photographer specifically told us that he was going to come to our wedding and take the photographs, but that was not what happened. He showed up for 15 minutes before the wedding and told us that he was going to another wedding across town and his assistant was going to be doing all the photograpy. He left without taking a single picture. The assistant occupied all of our time with photographs and we barely got to meet our guests. We spent the entire reception, over 2 hours, being photographed but we thought at least we were going to have some nice pictures with our family. Not so! The photographs turned out to be of a very middling quality, and when we recieved the proof CD we found that many of the most important pictures were left out completely or of such poor quality they were essentially unuseable. We have recieved not one single photograph after paying nearly $1000 in fees, and two weeks after we recieved the proof CD they called and demanded the proof CD back!! The individual photo prices are so expensive that we can't possibly afford to buy the pictures we want. We paid a lot of money, got poor service, moderate quality photos, and I have only a couple of photos of my special day that were given as gifts to me by my family. We were robbed!"
