Ahwren Ayers, Owner/Groomer

I was instructed in New York accredited Professional Grooming in the early 1970's. With much encouragement from family, friends, and clients, I opened My Pet's Place Dog and Cat Grooming in 1978. I've been blessed to work with pets and their owners these 30 plus years.

One of the rewards of my day is to see how good the animals feel after their grooming and their time of "special" attention. Then to see those good feelings translate into the joy of the connection between pet and owner.

I'm pleased to share my skills with Charles and I feel confident about his abilities as a professional groomer. He also brings supportive, upbeat energy to our workplace.

I have successfully completed my Dog and Cat Grooming apprenticeship this past year at My Pet's Place. I'm excited about my transition from Caregiving to grooming. With over 12 years experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant providing care to nursing home residents, I understand the importance of providing TLC to your special pet during their grooming experience.

Our Girls

Our mini Schnauzers, Lucy and Velvet Rose, enjoy playing catch with us and running us around their Agility course. The four of us also like to cuddle and puppy pile on the sofa in the evenings. We are as devoted to them as they are to us.
