Stretching is essential for everyone's physical fitness. When you have full range of motion, it's easier to build strength and develop endurance. Stretching helps to relieve restricted movements such as shoulder impingements and alleviate knee/hip/low back pain.
Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a unique, full-body stretching routine. It is safe and effective because it allows lengthening of the target muscle without triggering a protective stretch reflex.
The stretches are assisted by a therapist and performed seated or lying fully clothed on a massage table. Choose a duration that suits you best in half-hour increments.
