Village Books has been a part of the Fairhaven community since 1980.  An independent bookstore, it has become an anchor of the Fairhaven business district.  Besides being an inviting place for community members to browse, meet, and talk books, Village Books connects with the community through sponsoring events and organizations, and by donating to local charities.


Locals love Village Books, and according to the Bellingham Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, tourists do too, as evidenced by their award of Tourism Business of the Year in 1995.
