Soroptimist is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.
The Soroptimist Club of Bellingham, today Soroptimist International of Bellingham, received its charter 75 years ago on February 7, 1931, the 5th club chartered in Washington and the 62nd club in the United States and Canada.
